  1. Have been biking on and off about four years now. Continue to fight excruciating seat pain and quit. If you can solve that I would be very appreciative!!?

    1. Hi Debbie! My best advice first and foremost is to get a bike fit. Making sure that your whole bike is putting you in the right position in the saddle is the most important thing. A good local bike shop should be able to help you with this. Additionally, try LOTS of saddles. Everyone is different, and everyone will find that different saddles work better than others for them. My favorite right now is the Specialized Power with Mimic. Finally, make sure that you have padded bike shorts with a chamois that compliments your saddle. My favorite bike shorts right now are the Pearl Izumi Pro bibs. They are expensive but have the best chamois I have tried. If you don’t like a thick chamois the Terry Breakaway Bike short is really great too!
